Whether our client has been a company or an individual, what I have discovered over the last 18 years is that people really want to understand their options, the timeline that is to be expected and what they are agreeing to at the end of the day.  Yes - they want competitive terms, but what they really want is to understand how their financing works and how it will impact them in the long haul. 

Unfortunately, what I have also discovered over the years is that most banks, loan officers and brokers do a poor job of educating their clients.  The reason is that it takes time to get to know a client.  Few take the time to understand a client's goals, for both the short and long-term before recommending a financing financing solution for that individual client.  You see each client has a different set of circumstances and if product is applied without a client's unique set of circumstances taken into consideration, the solution will turn out all wrong.

I started this company with one thing in mind - understanding our clients and their goals first.  Then we educate them about their specific scenario, what solutions can be utilized to accomplish their goals, and how those solutions will impact their short and long-term decision making.  Finance consulting is the general description of what we do, but educating our clients is our goal.  It's because of that focus that I chose University Mortgage Planning for the our name and it is why our email addresses project that focus to our clients (trey@WeEducateYou.com).  Sure, we make money doing what we do, but our primary focus is to get to know you, your situation, and your goals.  Then we make sure that you understand your options and how they impact you now and down the road.  The transaction is not our goal - it's just part of what we do.  Our goal is that you have the right information so that you can make the very best choice for your business and/or yourself and your family.  That’s how I make decisions and I expect no less from our clients.
